I have never yet been to Haïti. The culture of this country was passed on to me by my mother who was born in Aquin. I remember the dresses, lace socks, ribbons and “barettes gogo” that she used to make me wear as a child. These outfits inevitably evoke the school uniforms in Haiti. I have a passion for collars, and for this collection I designed them with a scalloped finish, which gives a preppy and girly side to the silhouettes. Ready?

Denim has its origins in Europe but that’s in the United States that it will become an icon inspiring youth, freedom and rebellion. You won’t be surprised to know that it is one of my favourite fabrics! For this collection, we will have painted, textured or destroy denim. I can’t wait to show you all this!
